• Parent Briefing - New Vision, Mission and Values and Open forum

  Following the internal launch today of our new Vision, Mission and Values please come and join us for a glass of wine at our parent briefing on Wednesday 30th January in the school hall at 7pm. 

   

  This will be an opportunity for us to update you and then we shall have an open forum for feedback, questions, thoughts and ideas.

• Archdeacon Julie blesses our new Values banners.

  A new year brings with it the new Crockham Hill C E Primary School Vision, Mission and Values.

   

  This week we are launching this to the children and today Archdeacon Julie came to school to bless our new banners. The banners were revealed in the hall this morning and the children were so excited. 

   

  Mrs Ingman explained that the children had worked with Sarah Pimenta, an artist, to make the values banners. 4 Year groups each took a value and talked about the meaning of their value. They then thought about what that meant for them and drew images to represent their ideas. .

   

  Some very helpful parents then came in to school to help with the screen printing and cutting out the most delicate images.

   

  Our Key Stage 1 and Year R children then helped mix the paints and they loved having their hands painted in order to make hand prints. One little boy said "My mummy wouldn't let me do this at home!"

   

  We were also joined by members of the church community. We are really grateful for the generous donation they made from the funds raised by the Summer Fete which we have put towards paying for these banners. 

   

  Thank you to Archdeacon Julie for taking time to visit our school and for blessing the banners.

  Thank you also to Sarah and our trusty band of parents who gave their time to come and work with the children. Finally, thank you to the children for their incredible ideas and illustrations.

  Next week all clubs begin, see the letter to come out today or tomorrow for sign up details.

   

  Collection from all after school clubs will be from the playground gate.

  Welcome to our brand new school website! We have created the website to keep parents up to date with school news and notices, and to showcase some of the great things our pupils are achieving. The website is extremely easy to edit by all staff at the school, so check back soon for new updates!
