School Lunches

Pupils may either have a school lunch or bring their own packed lunch.

We are a nut free school so please ensure that packed lunches and snacks are nut free. This will help us ensure those with nut allergies are kept safe from foods which may cause them harm.

Examples of foods to avoid: peanut butter sandwiches, snack bars containing nuts..

We benefit from school meals cooked on site to a high quality. Parents are welcome to try school meals if they wish and we usually offer a ‘try a meal’ day to new Reception families on entry to the school.

All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a daily free school meal as part of the government’s current Universal Free School Meal offer but other pupils in Years 3 to 6 need to pay for their meal unless parents have applied for and been given free school meal status.

We encourage all parents who think they may qualify for free school meals to apply as this can trigger additional funding to support children’s learning. For more information please see below.

Payment – Ordering meals and payment should be made directly using the online system. Please ask the office for further information about how to access this.
