As well as a PTA the school operates a Parents' Council. This Council makes a positive contribution to moving the school forward and offers another avenue for parents to share their views and ideas. It is also an important way for school to obtain feedback on policies, new initiatives etc. 

The Council aims to meet once a long term (3 times a year) and is made up of the headteacher, a governor and parent volunteers. All parents can come to meetings but there is a core group of members. Parents are welcome to ask questions, put forward suggestions, respond to events and initiatives in school etc.
