Admissions/Open Days

We are a Kent County Council school. We serve families from Kent and Surrey including Crockham Hill, Marlpit Hill, Pootings, Four Elms, Westerham, Limpsfield Chart, Hurst Green and more.

We admit 20 children to each year group. Our admission patterns to Reception change from year to year, depending on the number of siblings of children currently in the school who apply. We operate waiting lists where we have no vacancies in a year group. To find out if we have any vacancies please contact our Admissions Officer - Mrs Feakes - see contact details below.

All places for Reception and any vacancies in all year groups are allocated according to the school’s over subscription criteria. These are set by Kent County Council. Currently, in priority order, these are

  1. Children in Local Authority Care or a child who was previously looked after but immediately after being looked after became subject to an adoption, residence or special guardianship order
  2. Attendance at a linked school (not relevant to Crockham Hill CE Primary School)
  3. Current Family Association (sibling)
  4. Health, Social and Special Access Reasons
  5. Nearness of Children’s Homes to School.

For full information about admissions for Reception please visit the county websites. To apply for a Reception place at Crockham Hill C E Primary School you should apply to the county where you live and name us on their form. So, if you live in Surrey name us on your Surrey form.

If your child is due to start primary school in September 2026, you can appeal if you are refused a place at one of your preferred schools on National Offer Day (Thursday 16 April 2026).

You must submit your appeal before Monday 18 May 2026 for it to be considered by Monday 20 July 2026. Any appeals received after this time will be heard within 40 school days from the deadline, or where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.

For late applications, appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged where reasonably possible in line with updated guidance from the Department for Education.
