It has certainly been a week of lights being switched off, fans working overtime, and children coming up with wonderfully inventive ways to keep cool!

We have all been incredibly grateful for our beautiful school grounds, which have allowed the children to enjoy their usual playtimes and breaktimes in the shade of our woodland area. We could not be prouder of how resilient, adaptable and positive the children have been throughout this spell of hot weather.

A huge thank you goes to Mrs Keeley ( and the PTA) and Mr Gibson, who generously provided ice lollies on Wednesday and Friday. They were a huge hit with both the children and the staff!

Finally, thank you to all of our staff, who have remained positive, enthusiastic and supportive throughout the week, despite the challenging temperatures. Their dedication and commitment to ensuring the children continued to enjoy their school days has been greatly appreciated.
