District Sports - 9th July
Today, 40 excited children from our school took part in the highly anticipated District Sports Day. The event, held at Tonbridge School, brought together students from schools across the area to compete in a variety of sporting events.
Our team was proudly led by Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Hutchinson, and Mr. Robertson, who helped prepare and support the children throughout the day. The pupils took part in a range of events, including track races, field events like long jump and javelin, and relay races.
There were some great performances and all our pupils showed great determination, sportsmanship, and team spirit. The relay races were especially exciting, with our teams showing fantastic teamwork and coordination.
The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was buzzing, and the energy from both competitors and supporters made it a truly memorable occasion. It was a great day for everyone involved, and we are so proud of our pupils for their efforts and enthusiasm.
A special thank you also goes to Mrs. Galloway, a parent, who kindly came into school in the lead-up to the event to help prepare the children. Her time and support were greatly appreciated.
Well done to all who took part—and a big thank you to Mrs. Gibson, Mrs. Hutchinson, and Mr. Robertson for making the day such a success!
